Scouts and assists in diagnosis of nutrient deficiencies and pest problems such as weeds, diseases, and insects. Quantitatively measures, loads, and applies fertilizers and pesticides. Organizes and maintains fertilizers and pesticides storage buildings. Properly disposes of excess chemicals and containers. Regularly calibrates fertilizers and pesticide applicators. Prepares soil plantbeds, establishes by seed or transplants, and maintains annual and perennial flowers in aesthetically pleasing arrangements.
